Well he's not the only one who can hunt in this house!
Here's my kill for the day:

And here is MY weapon of mass destruction:

  1. Well all I can say is happy hunting. I don't think that those mice have much meat on them though. LOL

I did hear if you have cedar chips around your house and peppermint oil around the inside that they don't like that. Don't know if it works but some guy told me that today while looking at chickens today at TSC.

I do however think that you need to tell your cats that they better get busy or they'll get the broom. :)

  2. Not enough meat huh? I think I could put them in the crockpot with some veggies & make them stretch. Maybe add a loaf of bread as well? :P
Yeah I tried to let the cat have it's way with the mouse but it seemed like all she really wanted to do was play with it. She would chase it, catch it, then chase it again. As the mouse was running away from her I was kicking it back to her so I decided it was time to attack. I didn't want it to get away & be living in the house so out came the broom! 2 whacks & it was dead. The cats' position in mouse hunting seems to be to push the mice my way like guys do when they hunt. They push them out & I kill them. Team work!

  4. Bravo for both of your "keels"! (Do I hear Achmed in the background? lol) We have both around here, too! We haven't had any mice in the house for a couple of years (that I KNOW about :-/ ) but on many nights, I can't take Maggie, little Schnauzer, for a walk w/o her being on a leash; especially if she's in heat. A little scary at times.

By the way ~ thanks for stopping by Marmee's Pantry!

    Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><
